Another great carriage driving event held here at the farm, full report on the driving pages!
At the Windsor Park Equestrian Club Carriage Driving Championships.. Annie Wilkinson won the Open Horse event with Heritiere her Breton Postier mare. A spirited dressage was followed by a "white knuckles" cones course. She made certain of the trophy with an exceptionally fast marathon!
Following on from her success with the heavy horse tandem at Rumbolds first ever driving event, Annie Wilkinson won the open horse marathan at Windsor Park the next week with Heritiere, our Postier Breton.
On the 19th August at Goodwood, it was the turn of husband Robert to take the honours, driving one of their tandems in the multiples section of the marathan.
Everyone enjoyed a wonderful day at the farm, the barn and lake looked amazing. Milly our oldest horse at 29 was a star taking the Groom down to the lake for the ceromony and our smallest horse horse at the farm Nibs was a little angel pulling his carriage with the Bride!

Vicki and Sue both qualified in Ireland. Course was arranged by Jamie Anderson of Equine Reproduction UK
The course was intense but relaxed atmosphere and we came away with a lot more experience and knowledge which now enables us to inseminate, perform lavages, and infuse antibiotics if required. Also able to assess oestrus stage visually and digitally by assessing the vagina and cervix of the Mares and collect, analyse and distribute semen from the Stallion.

So thrilled we took our San Amour colt to Peppers Farm today for his assesment and branding and he was awarded Premium foal!!! His comments were lovely conformation, outstanding canter, very good walk and good movement in the trot with excellent movement through the shoulder and lovely knee action in front. They said he was an improvement on his dam and a very good stallion choice for her. So all in all a very good day for our little man and lovely to hear the expert opinions on him
